Atlantic Marine, the world’s largest Grady-White Boats dealer, is looking for an energetic, motivated individual to join the team.  As a growing marine dealership, we are seeking the right person to assist us at our new state-of-the-art Service Center on Eastwood Road, Wilmington.  If you love boating, have a knack for customer service, and are willing to learn, this opportunity is for you!

The qualified candidate will have some skill, experience, competency, or education in the following pertinent areas:

  • Greeting customers, answering phones and e-mails
  • Booking service appointments and building rapport and trust with each customer by anticipating their needs and selling appropriate service products
  • Dispatching repair orders to shop staff
  • Management of outside vendors’ work
  • Management of our online service booking
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to our business practices and software
  • Microsoft Office (Particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Boating knowledge, small boat (under 40 feet) experience
  • Required: Active Driver License

Service writers will report to the service director and will work directly with technicians and riggers as their liaison with the customer.  Applicants with prior service department experience will be looked upon favorably.

This is a fulltime position with benefits, including health care insurance, retirement contribution matching with a SIMPLE IRA, and paid time off.  This position will require some work on weekends.  Compensation to be based upon experience.  This position may allow for growth within the company.
