Atlantic Marine’s Service Director, Richard, oversees all aspects of the service center’s daily operations including personnel, scheduling and distribution of work for technicians.  He also manages all work orders, logistics, handling insurance/warranty claims and vendors. He maintains a positive rapport with his service staff members and ensures they are properly trained and equipped with the resources and tools needed to perform all service-related jobs. Specializing in customer service negotiations, Richard has developed and maintained positive customer relationships and trust throughout his 25 years at Atlantic Marine.

Richard has received many service and customer excellence awards with Grady-White, Yamaha service management, and been recognized as a Yamaha five star certified service manager.

Richard grew up on lakes in Hartsville, SC and later moved with his family to Goldsboro, NC. Richard enjoyed being on the water and operating boats at an early age. Upon graduating high school, Richard moved to Wilmington, NC and attended Cape Fear Community College.  He has lived in Wilmington for 30 years and is blessed to call Wilmington home.

Richard and his wife, Heather, are devoted parents to their two sons, Patrick and William. When Richard isn’t working he enjoys spending time with family, hunting, fishing and getting out on the water.
