Day Trip to Downtown Wilmington

THE HIGHLIGHTS:

• There will be a navigation briefing at Atlantic Marine at 10:00am
• Leave from Atlantic Marine, Wrightsville Beach, 10:30am
• Travel south in the waterway to the Cape Fear River, then north up the river to Downtown Wilmington
• Dock at Port City Marina
• Lunch at the new Marina Grill
• Leave anytime you like
• RSVP Required.  Please RSVP as soon as possible as dock space is limited.

EVENT COST:

• A nominal dockage fee (TBD by Port City Marina)
• A per person lunch charge (TBD by Marina Grill)
• Atlantic Marine will collect from each club member and pay the vendors on this event.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO BEFORE THE TRIP:

• Sign up!  You will receive a confirmation e-mail after signing up!
• Check for required safety gear
• Make sure your boat registration is current
• Make sure you are current on your routine maintenance
• Top off with fuel (or enough for the trip)

WHAT WE RECOMMEND YOU BRING:

• A light jacket or rain jacket in case we run into rain
• VHF radio so you can communicate with the group.  We will use channel 77 (subject to change).
• Cell phone
• Docklines and fenders
• Grady Club Name Badge (Let Jordan know if you need one)
