CAPE FEAR GRADY CLUB EVENT JULY 18 – MASON’S INLET

Hello fellow Cape Fear Grady Club members! I’m excited about our outing next weekend. We’ve decided to meet at Mason’s Inlet, on the south end of Figure 8 Island, Saturday, July 18th. We plan to meet at 11:00am, and I will be there a bit earlier.

For lunch, we’ll provide Bojangles’ chicken. We ask that each of you bring a side that’s easy to share on the beach. Bring whatever you’d like to drink. We’ll set up a tent and table and provide plates, napkins, forks and knives.

I will have the Atlantic Marine demo boat, a 2015 Grady-White Canyon 306 with our flags flying; we should be fairly easy to spot once you arrive.

High tide is around 10:20am, and low around 4:30pm. I’ve provided some photos below to help guide you to our rendezvous. You’ll notice the white dots lead you north from Atlantic Marine at Wrightsville Beach to Mason’s Inlet. I’ve mapped two routes from the waterway to our rendezvous point; the first in green, which is the shortest route to where we’ll meet. There should be plenty of water at high tide to come in this way with any Grady-White. The tide will be falling while we are there, so I recommend leaving the island via the yellow dots, and follow the channel along the backside of Figure 8 Island.

Following the club event, we also invite you to be our guest for our customer appreciation event Saturday evening at the marina, 101 Keel Street, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. Catered by Musser’s Seafood and BBQ, plenty of entertainment for the kids, a shuttle to tour our showroom, and live music too!
