Myrtle Beach Weekend Trip

THE HIGHLIGHTS:

• There will be a navigation briefing at Atlantic Marine at 9:00am
• Leave from Atlantic Marine, Wrightsville Beach, 9:30am
• Arrive at St. James Plantation for lunch around 11:30am
• Eat lunch at St. James’ Tommy Thompson’s Resturant
• Depart St. James around 1:30pm
• Arrive at Grand Dunes Marina, Myrtle Beach around 3:30pm
• Check in Grand Dunes Marina Inn
• Reception Hosted by Atlantic Marine 5:30pm (Tentative)
• Saturday you are free to enjoy Myrtle Beach
  • Carolina Beach Music Bands at SOS
  • Boardwalk
  • Explore the waterways
  • Anchor at Little River Inlet
• Sunday depart Grand Dunes Marina at 10:00am
• Arrive back in Wrightsville Beach about 2:00pm
• RSVP Required.  Please RSVP as soon as possible as dock space and hotel rooms are limited

EVENT COST:

• A dockage fee ($2.00 per foot per night, plus tax)
• A per person lunch charge (TBD by Tommy Thompson’s Restaurant)
• Hotel room ($200 per night, including taxes and fees, 2 queens or 1 king)
• Atlantic Marine will collect from each club member and pay the vendors on this event.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO BEFORE THE TRIP:

• Register!  You will receive a confirmation e-mail after signing up!
• Check for required safety gear
• Make sure your boat registration is current
• Make sure you are current on your routine maintenance
• Top off with fuel
• Turn on tracks on your Garmin or other GPS unit, so you will have a clear path home, if you decided to l

WHAT WE RECOMMEND YOU BRING:

• A light jacket or rain jacket in case we run into rain
• VHF radio so you can communicate with the group.  We will use channel 77 (subject to change).
• Cell phone
• Binoculars
• Docklines and fenders
• Grady Club Name Badge (Let Jordan know if you need one)
